Sunkit was born in NightClan, his sister, Riverkit, and his father, Ashstone, leaving him with Shadestar. He became quite depressed after this happened, and even though he tries to find new friends, he can't seem to get over what happened to his true friend and sister, Riverkit. Sunkit finally becomes Sunpaw, but his training is slow. Sunpaw usually trained by himself. He didn't have a specific mentor (unless you count himself), yet still, he wanted to impress the clan. Finally, his hard work paid off when he was given a warrior ceremony, decided last minute. Shadestar thought Sunpatch was too bland, so she changed things up a bit and gave him the name Sunnypatch. And his vigil? Hah, let's just say that Shadestar doesn't find the need for that.
